My science project is about the best kind of shield for egg dropping. My hypothesis was that the egg will not crack if I dropped it when it was shielded the right way. I used a foam box to protect my egg . I was not wrong. So I got happy. Now I am done.

Today is history we honor Cardiss Collins, the first African-American woman to represent Illinois in Congress. She passed away yesterday at the age of 81. According to Chicago Democratic Rep. Danny Davis, who succeeded Collins, during her more than 24 years in Congress, Collins led efforts to reduce credit fraud against women, fought for gender equity in college sports and worked to reform federal child care facilities. She chaired the Government Activities and Transportation Sub-Committee.
